R. T. Morgan:
Since I’ve been a professional sculptor for over a decade and involved in art for almost thirty years, many an onlooker has concluded that I am well on my way to reaching my "full potential". Though approaching middle age, I am still a child. The term "full potential" is still inconceivable at this time.

I believe art is always inside the artist. He is thinking of it almost constantly. He is designing, redesigning, creating, problem solving and dreaming…Yet those artworks will be seen by no one until the physical creation has been produced. While we all have creative thoughts, the artist must sort these ever expanding mental artworks and make decisions as to which ones he wishes other to see. Only when others can see it physically is it labeled "ART". For me, "full potential" is an unattainable goal. How can one reach such a point, when time for physical creation is so limited yet our minds are not? In a lifetime a single artist can create thousands of artworks, still there are thousands more in his mind which no one else will ever see. How can any artist reach "full potential" in just one lifetime? I’ve always believed in what I create. I know it to be pure. Art is true expression, but physically, it’s a short statement.
