| Tim
Carr has spent more than twenty-five years as a professional artists,
designer and art director in advertising and marketing. He was most
recently employed by Hallmark cards as an Art Director in their Loyalty
Marketing Division. There he worked on house accounts as well with a
number of Fortune 500 companies, such as Ford Motor Company, SAKS, and
Master Card, developing custom greeting cards and other customer
relationship building materials. Originally from the South, he and his
wife Carol moved from Kansas City to a farm just outside Athens, Georgia
two years ago. He now devotes all his time to painting, sculpting and
spoiling a menagerie of pets and farm animals. At the age of ten, Tim
took his first painting lessons at an Atlanta YMCA. He continued to
pursue painting and later earned a degree in Art and Art History with an
emphasis in painting and the art of Oceania and New Guinea. From his
farm he takes frequent trips to the barrier islands of the southeastern
coast where he camps, sketches, paints and listens to the surf. |
